Alexander Reznikov is an important Russian collector of contemporary Austrian and Russian art. When he decided to rebuild a large comprehensive collection within Russia, the hunter and searcher was as much in demand as the financier and the connoisseur. It therefore seems that by collecting, documenting and promoting, the role of the collector has become much more of a crossover functionality as a partner for the art scene and museum scene alike than ever before.

Alexander Reznikov ist ein wichtiger russischer Sammler zeitgenössischer Kunst aus Österreich und Russland. Als er sich entschloss eine umfangreiche Sammlung innerhalb Russlands aufzubauen war nicht nur der „Jäger“ in ihm angesprochen, sondern auch der Kenner und Finanzier. Aus diesem Grund scheint es, dass durch das Sammeln, Dokumentieren und das Fördern, die Rolle des Sammlers eine Multifunktionalität bekommen hat – als Partner für die Kunst- und Museumsszene zu gleichen Maßen.
