Die BRAFA Art Fair wurde 1956 gegründet sie zählt heute zu den ältesten und wichtigsten Kunstmessen weltweit. Sie präsentiert moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst von höchster Qualität, Antiquitäten und Designobjekte. Die BRAFA findet jedes im Januar statt. Als erstes großes Kunst-Event des Jahres gilt sie als Stimmungsbarometer für den gesamten Kunstmarkt.

Die BRAFA findet auf dem Tour&Taxis-Gelände statt, einem historischen Industriekomplex im Norden der Stadt Brüssel. Als kosmopolitische Hauptstadt Europas ist Brüssel bekannt für seine hervorragende Gastronomie und eine große Anzahl an Museen, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Shops.
