Unseen is back, bringing the most ground-breaking and innovative emerging artists from across the globe to Amsterdam. Sixth Edition Unseen Amsterdam Unseen Amsterdam, the leading platform for contemporary photography, returns for its sixth edition. It will take place at the Westergasfabriek from the 22nd to the 24th of September. Focusing exclusively on what’s new in the world of photography, Unseen gives up-and-coming talent a platform to show their work. Artistic Director & Business Director Unseen is proud to introduce Emilia van Lynden as Unseen’s new Artistic Director. Emilia has been an integral part of Unseen for over 3 years, as Head of Artistic Affairs and Editor-in-Chief of Unseen Magazine. Unseen is thrilled that Emilia will now manage the artistic direction of the organisation. Additionally, Unseen is in the process of recruiting a Business Director. Advisory Committee 2017
Unseen is honoured to announce an international Advisory Committee, consisting of Alistair Hicks (writer, independent curator and advisor, UK), Darius Himes (International Head of Photographs at Christie's, USA), Lucy Conticello (Director of Photography at M, Le Monde, FR) and Marcel Feil (Deputy Director, Artistic Affairs at Foam, NL). In collaboration with the Committee, Unseen is expanding its platform to successfully incorporate an increasingly global pool of new talent in the field of contemporary photography, while also ensuring the quality of the programme continues to improve and flourish.
Photography Platform
Combining events such as the Fair, the Book Market and the Living Room (the speakers programme), Unseen aspires to provide novel and diverse approaches for engaging with photography. Welcoming galleries from around the world, Unseen connects and inspires artists, curators, collectors and photography enthusiasts on an international level. In addition to the Fair, Unseen has interactive onsite and city programming, the schedule for which will be announced in May.

Saturday 11.00 - 20.00
