  • Messe
    06.12.2016 - 18.12.2016
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will be holding “INK ASIA 2016,” the second edition of ink art from December 16 through 18, 2016.

The first international event devoted to contemporary ink painting, the show will again present a showcase for artists and galleries from the region, and attract an elite audience of international art collectors, dealers and connoisseurs. The five pillars of the show are modernity, abstraction transformation, emerging, salon and co-curation. “Modernity” focuses on the development of ink art in the 20th century; “abstraction” recognises artists who create their own visual language; “emerging” promotes new concepts by galleries and their new artists; “salon” examines the effect that new media is having on the genre in the 21st century; and “co-curation” unites different participants in the art industry with dynamic programmes promoting ink art.

The event will be on view at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Dr, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
